11:52 am - The X-Files MUCK has moved!

We invite you all to come to our brand new server! Crashes are a thing of the past. We just celebrated our 7th Year Anniversary, so come back and join the fun! We will begin a new timeline shortly, once we have enough players, and it will probably begin around Season 4. This leaves many FCs open for the taking. Any questions can be directed to me via livejournal or email. Hope to see you all there!

The NEW address is:

ive got several issues of the official X Files Magazine that I am looking to sell. All are in pretty much in MINT condition (I've had them in plastic for the last however many years) and there are 10 in all (plus 1 Entertainment Weekly with Mulder and Sculy on the cover). I'm taking offers so if you're interested, leave a comment with your email.

10:50 am - Hi

I don't really know how many people are still left out there. But let me tell you a little story. It was around March 2000 when I first discovered the X-Files MUCK. My poses sucks beyond all beleif, like 2 liners, three at best. Huge Mariah Carey fan and still am to this day, it was that very MUCK that I met someone who controled a Mariah Carey character. It was awesome. I looked forward to RPing with this person everyday I could. It is where I have the best RPing memories and it is where I deleveped my skills. X-Files became my home for me. Through me ups and downs, it remained there. To this day it is still there. But the only bad thing is, that the fun I use to have there is gone. My RPing days are almost over. I miss a lot of things that place brought me. And prehaps one day, the one who replaced me will have fun there as I did.

3:31 pm - Hey all you x-filers!

As I write you this I am watching the pilot episode of the X-Files.

As I sat at my computer today and surfed LJ I realized that while I had joined many comunities over the past few weeks, I had failed to even look at an X-Files one. So I looked at all the available places to join, I decided that this is the best site for me.

The X-Files is the best show I have ever had a chance to watch. I was "brought up" watching this wonderful show, and I have chosen to love it just as my father does. This may sound strange and even crazy, but I personally believe that the X-Files is a true. Very true. I do believe that there is some sort of conspiracy within our great American government. I also believe that extraterrestrials are here; if not here, then close. Now that is a very parinoid therory, but that's what watching the X-Files from a very young age can do to your beliefs.

Over the past few years, I have grown even more in love with the X-Files. My father has been buyin the X-Files season by season on dvd, the day they come out. We are a bit obsessed. Just a little bit.

My favorite charicter is obviously Mulder, since I have the same ideas as him. I have always wondered why Scully just couldn't believe in Mulder's theories, they seemed so obvious to me, but now I see that she did believe him all along, but she just couldn't admit it. Ever since Mulder left the show, I lost interest in actively watching the show. I found that the only reason the show was worth watching was because Scully finally believed. I did cry during the last episode though. I cried when Mulder was abducted. It can be a very sad show.

Does anyone remember that poster that Mulder had on his wall? The one that said "I want to believe" and had the UFO on it? My father has that hanging on his wall over his bed. I also have a patch on my jeans that says "Trust No One."

This is my first entry. Please, X-Files lovers, don't let this comunity die out, because I have noticed that it is a very slow here. O and Hi!

5:20 pm - I'm new!!! Hiii!!!

Hello all, I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. I love the X-files and David Duchovny, and have been a follower of the show since the very first episode, which is when I was about 12 and it's great to see that there are still some fanatics out there.

I'm also posting on here cos I need your help. I'm in the process of moving back home (it's kind of a long story, if you care to know, there are more details on my journal ;) ) and I have to dump some of my stuff. I have a bunch of X-files stuff (more than I realized) and it's doing nothing in my garage but collect dust. I'm NOT selling the stuff, the only money I'm asking for is for the postage. I don't want to sell it, I guess I'm just weird like that! ;) I just want to give it to some fans who I know will appreciate it. So, I'm going to add a list on here of all the stuff I have and you can pick and choose what you want from there (or if you want all of it, be my guest!!). The stuff is in pretty good condition, just has all the beatings that a fan will give it! Also, if you consider this as shamelessly pushing my junk on you... forgive me!

I just joined the community--thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Danielle-- I'm a 19 year old real estate agent/web designer from Maryland. I'm in love with the x-files and am happy to be part of a community with the same interest.

9:56 pm - No RPGers?

Actually, there are some RPers right here on LJ, who use communities to RP... I've found lots of Buffy ones.

Some are funny, some not so... you can check out lunatic_cafe and thetabloid for just two examples... if ya want, maybe we could start right here... and see what happens... :-)

Could be fun... ya never know.

10:07 am - Where has all the RPers gone.

Red Alert.....Red Alert....
Lack of RPers detected.

Alright peeps, time to get your brain in gear and start logging onto the X-Files more and RP.

I want to see lots of RP. I want to see logs, yes you know you hate them but sometimes we have to do what is best for everyone. So on your free time, instead of going out getting drunk or high or maybe something else.....ROLEPLAY!!!

Thanks, this has been an announcement from your local staffer!!

10:13 am - the Truth is always out, whenever I stop by

Hi all --

Does anyone here know the name of the X-Files episode where a supercomputer uses the internet to hunt down and kill its enemies -- including the genius hacker who made it in the first place?

In particular, does anyone know the name of the song on the "kill-switch" CD?

Top 5 Lines Never Heard On The X-Files

5. "Sure we could have these people killed to protect what they know... but isn't that a little harsh?"
4. "I've seen this one before, Scully. His name is Casper and he's what we call a 'friendly' ghost."
3. "Look under the mask... this is no swamp monster. It's Mr. Handy, the owner of the old country store!"
2. "Well, Agent Mulder...you've caught us. We'll cooperate fully, of course."
1. "Gosh, I guess we were wrong. The government did have our best interests at heart, after all."
